i am an enviro & music journalist. i pen words, mostly about trash & punk and have done so as far back as my high school reporting days, even sleeping on a tour bus or two while traversing two lane blacktops and backwoods Americana. since then, i have contributed to metropolitan dailies, Texas alt-weeklies and various nature rags.

i maintain this here blog, but not everyday because i need time to raise cain & publish written words. and drink. whiskey. today, you can find me searching the city streets for a recycling bin (with my iPod in tow) or in the woods. with the whiskey.

i should warn you that i live in a ’66 aluminum tin can and think the world is your snow globe … you can shake it up, but don’t break it.
